Figure/ground

One of those optical illusions that can be seen as a raised figure or as it really is a mould. A revisit to the Wedgwood site from yesterday but this time visiting the museum and an associated art project. The mould seen in the main image is used to make the embossed figures seen on classic Wedgwood Jasper ware. In the first extra are some clay figures made by local schoolchildren for the Cast of Thousands art project. We are having a weekend with friends from university days and doing a bit of a nostalgia tour of our old haunts. The other two extras show two of the more famous buildings at Keele University; Keele Hall and the Chapel. Didn't bother with one of the pub. Bit behind on comments due to social commitments :-)
