Porthcawl Walk

We didn't see much of the sun yesterday being in a non windowed casualty department with my dad; Today was just as gorgeous and we were determined to make the most of it!  We chose a walk that we have not done before from Porthcawl harbour to Sker Point and return. A good seven miles mostly along the clifftop of the Glamorganshire coast on The Bristol Channel.

The place was heaving with people making the most of the beach and lovely late summer September day. The photograph I like a lot is a metal detectorist with a young lad doing the digging! The bright light and beach scene sums up our day.
