Angles-Sur-L'anglin

After a walk around La Roche Posay as it was market day, we bumped into a french woman english teacher, Catherine, who kept us entertained for nearly two hours over coffee in the cafe next door to the tourist office. She gave us some information on places to visit.

One such place suggested was Angles-Sur-L'anglin which is extremely beautiful. My aerial photograph captures the 11th century castle ruin that dominates the village. We enjoyed a walk along the riverbank wand watching the ducks and people doing likewise and picnicing.
