9 King Street, Kirkwall

Before I nipped into the King Street Halls for a Science Festival Lecture I tried for a photo of this house. It's Council offices now, so there are always cars 'in the way'.

It belonged to T. S. Peace the architect responsible for many grand buildings in the town. I'm fond of its heavy front door.
