Oor Wullies

As part of the final day’s preparations before tomorrow’s kiltwalk I wandered around town with my brother who is up from England for a few days.

We spent some time in St Andrews Square where they have brought together the Oor Wullie statues that have been dotted around Edinburgh. Each is named and the base model decorated to convey the theme.

Raising funds for various charities the display was both colourful and fun. The extra is a tribute to seagulls - entitled “Mine Mine Mine”.
