Hugging the Celosia

The clouds which spoiled any opportunity for a harvest moon shot last night were still around this morning.  Thinking it would be good for shooting flowers, I headed over to the botanical gardens mid-morning. The pollinators were out in force. I don’t think I have ever seen so many and the flowers were simply gorgeous.  I wasn’t the only one taking advantage of the first cool day in a while, the parking lot was nearly full. 

I couldn’t decide which shot to post so will add a couple of extras.  The main shot is some sort of black wasp that hopefully, someone will be able to identify for me.
