Saturday: Pat and Elena

I’ve had quite the social day today. I met up with Pat (left) and her friend, Elena, for lunch. Pat used to work in Kiev when I was there in the early 2000s. She is now retired and living in LA - she has been doing a west coast holiday, culminating in a few days here in Vancouver. It was lovely to catch up with her after 15 years.

I then went home, dropped off the car, before K. and I met up with Mia and Sharon. We introduced them to the delights of ‘Storm Brewing’ and ‘Slow Hand’ for a few drinks. Home at a decent time for dinner so, all in all, a good day.
