Friday: Liu Institute

I’m not even sure when this building was built but I do like the architecture on the UBC campus. It seems to date from every decade of the last century.

I was out there this evening for a welcome reception for the incoming Masters students at the School Of Public Policy. Such a bright, earnest young bunch. I didn’t stay very long, it being a Friday after all. The phrase, ‘unfortunately I have another engagement’ always comes I very handy.

Little do they know that my engagement is dinner at home with K. and Netflix. Tonight we watched the last of ‘Orange Is The New Black’. It lost its way a bit towards the end but was still pretty good.
