Cornwall.

I am very behind with my entries so please watch out for lots in one heap!

Today we headed for Cornwall in rain. Ha! thought I , that’s about right. I go on holiday it rains!! But as we headed for St Ives so the weather go better and better! And it got even warmer and sunnier the near we got!

Our first destination was the East Pool Mine run and preserved by the National Trust. This gave us a really good idea of what the mines were all about and how they worked.

Lunch , and then off to find our house in St Ives.

A very nice little home for 4 days but oh my goodness the entrance to it is a challenge to say the least! It is a good thing that Mr Tbay is an awesome driver other wise it could have been a bit difficult!

Once installed in out immaculate and well equipped house we had a drink before heading for the Town centre to find a place to eat. Our house is about 15 minutes down hill all the way to the harbour front and in places was a pretty steep decent.

We found a very nice fish restaurant where we indulged in Dover Sole. Sooo yummy. The thought of the uphill climb after a delicious and rather filling meal got the better of us and we took a taxi back to base! Phew!

A very nice start to our little getaway!
