Big bike rides ahead

This is my trusty steed for getting me as far as my legs can power me.

When I bought it I thought I needed a road bike but that's not what I needed at all.

The guys in the shop asked me lots of questions about how I'd be using the bike. When I explained they recommended this sports hybrid, which was half the price of the road bike!

I spent the money they saved me on accessories and safety equipment.

Today I've ridden 35 miles on it as training for the first of 2 bike rides planned for this year: Manchester to Blackpool, and Glasgow to Edinburgh.
