Where is she?

Eldest daughter started Uni in September. Last term we nearly had to take Ginger to the vets as we thought she was ill. She wouldn't eat and kept waiting outside every night for Amy's return- even in the pouring rain. In the end I took Ginger to see her - a 3 hour car journey- and she seemed to settle for the last two weeks. It was as if she was ok now she knew where she was.
Amy went back to Uni today. Is it my feelings reflected in the dogs eyes? Will we both be better this term?
