12th Night

So at last Christmas is behind us with twelfth night tonight. Finally took down the Christmas tree. Somewhat like a cartoon as soon as we went near it almost every needle fell to the floor ( too mean to buy a no drop tree!)
I am never allowed to have a co-ordinated tree. We always have to have the same decorations added to each year . We have a motley assortment of rather evil looking pearly angels, varying types of reindeer ( sparkly and non-sparkly) baubles , a strange cloth decoration one of the dogs chewed when it was a puppy and some tatty tinsel. However, my favourite decorations are the ones the girls made when they were tiny and the old salt dough ones we made about ten years ago.
It was especially poignant today as eldest go's back to Uni tomorrow and there I was taking down decorations she made when she was two or three years old.
