Leaving Ardrossan Behind

We had to pack the car before we set off this morning.  TT and I went to work and BB went to the last day of his rugby camp.  I had a morning of meetings, the final one being hideous!  I then dashed off to meet BB and TT at the station and we headed back to the car. We were then on our way to Ardrossan to catch the ferry for our annual trip to Arran.  We made good time on the journey and could almost have made an earlier ferry.  We therefore had a couple of hours to kill in sunny Ardrossan!

It was a gorgeous day and very hot.  First stop was Asda, as TT hadn’t had any lunch.  He then took us on a walk to find Ardrossan Castle, which really didn’t take very long.  Eventually we were on the ferry, where we had tea, then sat out on deck enjoying the sunshine.

We drove to our destination and met up with our friends who were already there. We had a lovely evening catching up over a few drinks.
