We went to Melbourne Festival today to follow their art and architecture trail. That's Melbourne the small Georgian market town in South Derbyshire, not Australia unfortunately. Having followed a similar event in Wirksworth for a few years now we thought a change was needed and we had a thoroughly enjoyable day. The Georgian houses and gardens opened up to display local artists work were beautiful.
There was a small classic car gathering whichh also got my attention. Extras include scenes from the day and the harvest display in the church was worth a special mention.
