Turmeric

Fiona's back to work tomorrow. The boys are back to school and I'm back to work on Tuesday. Usual mixed bag of feelings about this although, over recent years, the feelings have been accelerating towards: "Please! Anything but! There's so much more to life!".

We did a bit of running around today and snatched a wee walk before starting tea. You can pull into a car park just before entering Ormiston and walk (or cycle) east or west along a disused railway line. We headed west, looped into Ormiston and walked back to the carpark through the village.

My eye was caught by the colour on the limbs of a cluster of dead trees by the verge. Although the trees were dead they now provided sustenance for this rusty-orange fungal stuff. None grew on any of the nearby living trees.
