Happy Birthday To Me

I’ve had a lovey birthday. I opened my cards and presents this morning before Poppy went to school and even Alfie dragged himself out of bed. D and I had a drive out to Aldeburgh, fish and chips for lunch and a pint in The Cross Keys. It was a bit of a cold, damp day but still nice to be beside the sea and we were probably the youngest people there which at 51 is quite an achievement.
We’ve had a Thai takeaway this evening and D got me a birthday cake. A super day to end a fantastic weekend.
