Early Start

Up at an ungodly hour and collected with my host by one of the other folk going on this annual 'photographer's' gathering.
Then it was off to Dartmoor with stops to take pictures (and avoid the runners doing the Tor Peaks (who insisted on running down the middle of the lanes and refusing to move for traffic).
I have no idea where the old bridge was exactly - but it become very, very busy with people refusing to give photographers a chance to get a clear shot and who objected when their pictures were taken.
Another stop was at an old gunpowder factory. That was where I went base over apex landing on my back while trying to get over a gate. Luckily the camera and second lens (both of which I were in my hands) were okay.
Eventually we made it down to the place we are staying and met up with the three others who had already arrived.
We headed down to the sea and the sky to await the sun going down at the lighthouse and took loads of pictures of the crashing waves with the sun behind them.
I was quite pleased with this one as the thing strip of cloud crossed in front of the sun as it sank into the water.
The colour  hung around for ages after the sun had gone ….. much like the start to the day really (apart from the sea and lighthouse on the island).
