St Andrew

Home again after yet another car saga. We were all packed and ready, the car full of the insane amount of stuff we seem to need for a four night stay, we’d said goodbye to a neighbour who happened by ... and the car wouldn’t start. Two hours, a new battery and a very efficient and helpful RAC man later we were off - to say hello to the other half of the family before finally heading for home.

We brought with us my new icon. I was drawn to an earlier icon of St Andrew on Katherine Sanders ‘ Twitter feed and commissioned one of my own. St Andrew The First-called. An appropriate saint for this time in Scotland’s history. I love it.
