Back blip

A visit to Schönbrunn Palace this morning. Fascinating tour and unusual extensive gardens, which we enjoyed. You are not allowed to take pictures in the Palace and one of the group asked why.

It is because it slows up the movement of people through the rooms. I can fully understand the reason having watched the behaviour of many people taking photos on this trip. There are those who have to be in every photo, several poses for each background, so preventing everyone else getting a clear shot and the groups who take it in turn for each member to be photographer !!! The Palace did have an experimental day when photography was allowed and it was total chaos!!!

We had our Captain’s Farewell Cocktails before dinner this evening, although it’s not our last night until tomorrow. Most enjoyable!!!!!
