Boroughston broch

Shapinsay today. In between work I managed to visit Boroughston Broch. I have an ever increasing fascination with brochs and hadn’t been to this one yet.

Impressive amount left of the structure but I found myself a bit creeped out. Kept thinking someone was behind me. I’m sure it was the wind changing as the rain approached but whatever it was the hairs on the back of my neck were prickling. Will go back another time and take someone with me to district the ghosts whilst I have a good look around.
