Autumnal
This bit of border beside the pond in Benmore Gardens struck me as the epitome of Autumn - though not autumn in my garden, which hasn’t had any diligent tidying such as this patch has.
Normal life resumed today in that we had a walk in the Gardens and a choir practice in the evening, though I also did a big washing and hung everything out, as well as having a meeting with our IFA. It’s all strangely exhausting
In the parallel universe our political leaders are behaving as badly as ever and people still seem to think they’re fit to run the country. I wish I could disengage, but it’s not going to happen.
