A life on the ocean wave
We ventured out on an excursion today.
A kindly gentleman sold us the tickets yesterday; and told us there would be plenty of seats and bring our own snorkels because the ones on the boat were never washed.
I took that as a good sign
We arrived at the launch point today to be met by about 75 people - far too many for the boat. I stood having an internal panic attack; ready to turn and walk away
But it’s weird how being a mum makes you stronger than you think; braver than you think.
When the boat arrived we realised there were two loads of boat passengers waiting - most of the people of the other boat were taking up all of the embarkation point - so once they had been moved we were able to clamber aboard with far fewer people and less panic.
When we got upstairs - there were plenty of seats and we nabbed a corner away from all the other hoomans
The trip was lovely - two hours down the coast. Two hours off the boat - during which time we swam in the sea and ate calamaris; on the way back there was much confusion about which boat and which queue. Himself got REALLY pissed off at the Italians who don’t seem to under stand lines of people standing are a thing and walked in front of us twice;
Tooli had to jump In and break up the Rammy which was about to start.
Then tonight after the best Animation show ever last night. We have just been subjected to a 1960’s Cabaret act - without the singing. I think if this pair had sung. I would have thrown myself in the pool and weighted myself down
Today we all got mightily ‘tannned’ and are hoping that tomorrow we will all be less red. And more golden
