We did it, we did it, we did it

Another hot day which started with a very interesting trip down lanes so narrow the wing mirrors of the cars barely coped. Note to self that the most direct road to a parking spot is not necessarily the most sensible. I think the bramble scratches will polish out.

We did find a better route out to get car two to yesterday’s
finish point for the start of today’s brutal walk.

We thought we were mad but JJ spotted a couple climbing the face of one steep cliff, so we stopped for lunch and watched them for a while.

There were five deep valleys to negotiate today but we did it in the end.

The boys are going out to fetch fish and chips tonight and then we have to pack ready for our journey home tomorrow. It may have been painful but the scenery has been superb and I have loved every tortuous minute of it.
