Diary of an Edinburgher

Pizza!

The day was cloudy at first, but by midday the sun had broken through and it was a super afternoon, and a glorious evening as we walked through the Meadows.

Libby came to pick Archie up for walkies. She's been away home for the summer, but is now back for the new term. Her timetable this year is rather full, so she's not sure when she can take him out. He gave her a good welcome!

We then went down to Stockbridge to partake of our favourite pizza restaurant's two for one offer. (My pizza only looks humungous because it's so close to the camera...) We sat outside on the sunny pavement tables. When we left, Archie refused to go further, but dragged JR across the road and straight up the stairs to the dog shop, where he got a treat! He goes there every week with Elizabeth.

We went for a coffee to a wee cafe, then Archie and I hopped on a (very busy) bus and came home via a walk in the Meadows. He was SO good in the bus, because it was hot and standing room only, but he didn’t say a peep.

A VERY exciting day tomorrow. The Rugby World Cup begins. And as if that wasn’t enough...

I pick up my new iPhone!

I won’t be able to sleep.

PS I saw these on the bus (Extra). One has to ask 'Why?'
To which the obvious answer is... 'Why not?'
