Sugar Loaf

We arrived at the house for a viewing and wondered why there was nobody to meet us. K1 reached for her phone to call the Agent...ah, a text to say it had been cancelled about two hours ago. Only one thing to do in a situation like this, go for coffee and cake (ice slice for me) and sit in the sunshine at the Hummingbird Cafe in Llanover. Follow up with a walk through Llangattock  and along the canal past the most stupendous Redwood tree ever, must be a few hundred years old, which brings us back down through the fields to Crickhowell. The garden at the Dragon Inn beckons for a 3pm "lunch", with a panoramic view of the surrounding hills in glorious afternoon sunshine. Plenty of time and space to relax and enjoy the world.
