Silent Valley

“Be still and the earth will speak to you.” Navajo proverb.

A walk with A through the Silent Valley Local Nature Reserve, an opportunity for me to visit another, hidden side of the county in search of photos to fit the brief of "Spirit of the Place". Plenty of inspiration as the Autumn colours are making their presence felt in some of the Beech trees. No particular plan in mind other than to wander around the valley in search of photos; the only others we met during our few hours being a woman with her grandson and dog out for a picnic lunch. Idyllic setting and so peaceful, and of course I found my photo for the day carved in the fallen tree.
