Dam Drive
After my second early morning run, us Tuttles took the car out for a spin and visited a couple of places on the other side of some mountains. Found the Evertou Dam as recommended by our rep. Then headed off to a medieval bridge further down stream: a river that has largely disappeared thanks to the dam. Amazingly the bridge, which was built in the 1600's is still standing despite being largely left untouched. Took some driving to get to. Took a pic, like tourists usually do(!).In infrared of course.
The evening saw us visit Chix Chox, the restaurant owned by the villa owner, someone who resembles a rather tanned version of Tommy Lee Jones. He was all very welcoming of course and the food was out of this world. Moussaka, Pizza and Meze. And Keo, as you do. We found an ice cream parlour for dessert, a bit like what we do at home: a meal in a carvery followed by a McFlurry in MacDonalds. Mmm, not quite the same is it?
