Sunny ride (Day 1598)

A later start this morning, and a leisurely wander up the hill with the woofers and my beautiful wife in sunshine and a warm breeze. Coffee at home, then a trip to town to collect stuff and things.
Back at home for coffee and lunch, then out for a wander with the dogs at Lyde. We settled the dogs at home then zoomed through to Stromness to get out a ride on the horses. The wind was fairly strong, but it was still pleasantly warm. We opted to ride through Stromness and back along the shore to the field. Lots of trotting and cantering today which was great. As we got back to the field I noticed Mum and Dad walking along the shore so HV and I took the opportunity to canter down to them to say hello. Which gave us an excuse to canter back to the field.
Today has been a great day, spending lots of time outside in the sunshine after a week of working inside.
