Another Day Another Walk And A Little Splash

Made the brave move of walking further into the island away from Polis. This lead to the village of Pelathousa, (very) high up in the hills. Or mountains? Awesome views all over but one does wander "why the isolation?" and how they managed before cars and trucks were the norm. Came across another church in the village plus another one half way up (I paid a visit half way down, not trying to sound like a nursery rhyme teller!). clocked up a lot of steps in the process which lead to a much deserved all day splash in the villa pool.

Took many pics between us in burst mode. The burnt fields can be seen in the background as well as the bails of hay. Almost finished my third book: Maurice Edwards "A Right Pair". An awesome insight to the behind the scenes working with Cloughie and Peter Taylor throughout their football management careers. Maurice was a scout for the right pair from the very beginning at the humble Burton club all the way through Derby and Forest. Fascinating stuff.
