It was my idea to go to Bowness. I didn't expect it to be as busy and we were lucky to find a parking space.

I had loads of people on the prom shots but decided to post this one which includes a view up the lake. 

Warm enough for an ice cream but agreed that we weren't paying £2.40 for a cone with a single scoop and fortunately I didn't need to part with 50p (the new price) to use the public toilets.
