So much rain

I went back to school today for my volunteer role as a reading helper. As I sat reading with the children the rain bucketed down. I was going to call at the shop but decided to come straight home rather than get a soaking. My journey home was pretty hairy lots of flooding on the way. 
The bird bath was empty this morning! I know its not level, I have tried but I live on a hill!!!
