The Hippy Heron Shake

Ollie dog and I went to recycle stuff in the village and met a couple who used to visit our plant centre. They said how much they miss coming to buy their garden plants from us. They loved Ollie. 

As it was raining on and off we went to Longlands hide after lunch. The pheasant poults are starting to get their adult plumage and the jay is back and forth with its gullet stuffed full of acorns.

The sun came out so we made a dash for the Bittern hide and met a photographer who was scouting for locations. Ollie was a hit with him too. I saw this heron catch a crayfish and I've photographed it when it was having a shake.
