Dog bite!

So- I took Chester for a walk this morning and a neighbour's dog- a little terrier- came running up the road and went for his throat.
I tried to separate them when Chester tried to defend himself and the terrier bit me.
It wasn't too sore at the time but I got a real fright and when I got home realised he'd punctured the skin.
It got pretty sore so I phoned my doctor's surgery and ended up going down for a tetanus shot and a course of antibiotics.
The owner was pretty upset too- but I know this is not the first time this dog has attacked without provocation.
I couldn't keep a dog like that.
And I took my hubby to the airport as he is away for 3 weeks.
Crap day. Sorry .
