Stooks on Pallets

A better day, a breeze still about, and then some sunny spells in the afternoon.

Another day working on the museum desk.  A lot of Wool Week visitors arrived off the ferry this morning, and we've had a really busy day.  Glad I'll miss the first day tomorrow, it will be mobbed.  Niece Elise came over after school, and us staying for the weekend.  A night of telly and the sofa.

It was good to get some fresh air and away from the madness at lunchtime.  I blipped this stooks of corn a few weeks ago, and since then they've been raised up onto pallets, must be due to the rain.  I'm hoping I'll be around when the time come to threshing them.  Taken at Mail, Cunningsburgh.
