It's a Sin-tra!

Mrs B and I headed up into the hills to visit the UNESCO World Heritage town of Sintra…………… the country residence of former Portuguese royals.

We knew it was going to be busy with tourists but holy moly, not as bad as it was!!

Beautiful, picturesque and notoriously difficult to get from palace to palace to Moorish castle, it's narrow streets and steep lanes are totally clogged by tourist buses spewing fumes.

Glad to have seen it, glad to get out!
