Ironbridge

What do you do when the weather is tripe?! Get up, make poached eggs on haddock then get in the car and drive two hours to Ironbridge!  Not the best weather for photography but it did mean we had the place pretty much to ourselves!  I purchased a couple of Christmas gifts (there I have said it...Christmas!) We had  a wonder and then sat and enjoyed a fresh scone sitting outside under an umbrella in the rain before moving on to look at Buildwas Abbey and then on to Much Wenlock Abbey (both ruins). Beautiful place and no one was there!

Home now where I collected 4kgs of walnuts off one tree!
