Rainbow from A14

A long, wet and slow journey home from Rochdale. It didn’t start well as we joined a long queue of traffic on the M62 caused by one of the most horrendous crashes we’ve ever seen on on the other carriageway. Suffice to say we learned later there had been fatalities and it didn’t surprise us.

That set the tone for the rest of the journey, affecting how we drove and how we felt.

Rain continued pretty much the whole way, turning more showery later with some very intense downpours which led to the rainbow in today’s blip. Relived and grateful to get home.
