Cream chargers
Thank you for your good wishes both for the journey and our safe arrival. There’s a bunch of blippers watching over us!
A day spent catching up with ourselves and catching our breath after that mammoth journey. We’re always grateful when we get back safe and sound. There was one minor mishap when a stone cracked the bottom corner of the windscreen near Newark. Might be repairable.
On our walk this afternoon we came across all these cream chargers dumped on the edge of the village green. This is only a small portion of perhaps a hundred or more littering the grass. I had to look up “cream chargers”. They’re supposed to be used for what the name suggests, to whip cream by passing nitrous oxide through it. It’s used as a recreational high, with the gas ejected into balloons and then inhaled.
We’ve seen many such dumps around the village, even inside our allotment gate. An unfortunate entry for tiny Tuesday, thank you for hosting MaryElizaR
