Lovely friends

The journey from Northumberland to Haringey took 6.5 hours in rain, but what a warm welcome we had from Chloe and Graham when we got here. We met Chloe only 2 years ago in Kyrgyzstan and Graham a year ago but we get on so well. It’s lovely to meet a couple that you both hit it off with.

Anna came to eat with us and it was lovely to see her looking so well after her stomach cancer op. She was so poorly when In Kyrgyzstan 2 years ago and when she got home the cause was first diagnosed. She’s amazing. She visited a friend in Rwanda this summer but has found it all quite tiring,

Tomorrow we’ll be out early to queue at the consulate hoping all the paperwork is in order, then we’ll pay for a fast track visa which we hope to procure by 6.30pm. Fingers crossed.
