thrice upon a lunchtime

The one on the left's doing the Etape Caledonia this year and the one on the right appears to have signed up for lots of shorter hill-based things in the nearer future, so they were technically both out training this lunchtime. I'm just getting out and about in the fresh air and enjoying being still hungry after a few packets of oatcakes in the afternoon rather than feeling too full to manage a proper tea.
