Wet end to September

The morning commute was slow, the volume of traffic causing the motorway to come to a standstill. The day was busy and productive and I managed a walk at lunchtime which didn’t involve getting soaked.

I had two parcels to open when I got home. One contained garlic for planting at the allotment (six different varieties). The other contained calendula cream. I plan to grow calendula next year and to make some oil and/or skin cream with it so wanted to try using it beforehand.

It is good to be home, warm and dry and relaxing. The rain is now thrashing against the window. Keep safe and sleep welll.
