Wood anemone

Couldn't resist this vase when we popped in to the gallery in Masham last week. Love the colour and the wood anemone.

Monday, and it's back to relative normality after our week away and MrM's birthday outings. Domestic stuff, admin - all the usual trappings of everyday life.

In the evening, a trip to Chirnside. At the end of last week, noticed that a friend there was advertising a gate-leg table for sale. Recently, we have been talking about buying one - our small kitchen table will just about accommodate four and, if things go to plan, there will be more than four people here at times over the [whisper] festive season. So the deal was done, and we now have a very old new-to-us table that will fit in to the 'music room' when required. And it was good to see Cathy, before she and her family move north.
