butterfly safari
Catching up with my photos from France, we are home now, cold and still itching from mozzy bites The fine sunny weather was perfect for butterflies. I spent a lovely hour on our last full day just trying to capture as many different types that I could.around the Salle des Fête well tendered border plants.
The main blip is a hummingbird hawk moth and in extras a painted lady, large white, swallowtail, Queen of Spain fritillary, clouded yellow and common blue. There were others but I wasn't fast enough to get those as well.
