Ryder Cup cheerleader
Today was spent mostly in front of the tv watching what I think is the greatest sports show on earth, the Ryder Cup. Today Europe finished off the whimper of a threat from team USA. In truth the US team appear unable to play golf on this type of European course, instead they are so used to long wide fairways with soft fast target golf greens. Golf is about the variety of courses and landscapes and maybe the US need to go back to setting up courses to test different styles of golf.
Anyway it is good to have that trophy back this side of the pond and we will be back on a long course with super fast greens in 2 years time to have a more competitive game.
The garden squirrel wondered what all the cheering was about so took a peek and joined in.
