Sex education in Castro district

What can I say ?

I loved this area - rainbow banners on all the street light posts, a range of interesting shops, incliding 'Cliffs Variety' which sells everything ..
'Faucets Plungers Sockets Feathers Boas Tiaras Nuts Bolts Screws...Wrenches Ribbons Chains Forks Nails' as well as wigs ( but there was a notice saying you could only try on 3 ) sequins, feather false eyelashes, a magnetic 'what will Jesus wear today' set... bliss

The GLBT museum also - anyone recall The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence ? It was good, odd to see such recent history in a museum, but brilliant to see the real solid pride in the history of the area being established.

After that, we went up the road to Alamo Square (I kid you not) to see the Painted Ladies ... a row of rather gorgeous victorian wooden houses, all very decorative, and painted in very tasteful and elaborate style. I could have posted a picture of them, but the mobile won.
