Red Hot Poker.

A late arrival in our garden. There were a few early summer but this one forgot to bloom. My mum used to tell me a joke...." Have you heard the one about the red hot poker ?" when I said "No" she answered " It's too hot for you to grasp"   I didn't get the joke until many years later !   I have altered the title as I thought it was a lupin at first.
