Frost Fighting....

There was quite a heavy frost this morning.. It was heavy enough to set off alarms in various vineyards. Then frost fans were activated and were making considerable noise when Maisie and I set out for a walk. There were helicopters up and hovering over vulnerable vines where bud burst has occurred . A large helicopter can be seen in the right-hand side of this image. Margaret and Emily returned to Wellington this morning. The house is very quiet..... we are missing them.
