Found on a walk....

I knew it would come in handy some day, and now it has. Big thanks to Ingeborg for hosting Abstract Thursdays. This is a long, narrow pinecone that at some point split in half, & this is just how it looked when Mae & I found it. 
 I'm going to turn my comments off for a bit--maybe until Monday--as my step-daughter, son-in-law and the twins are flying in today & will be here until Sunday. They've come for my nieces' wedding which is on Saturday, and Sunday is my brother and sister-in-laws' 40th wedding anniversary with the special mass, so I won't have much time for blip just now.  Also, Tom saw the dr. yesterday and his labs are holding steady, so his next round of chemo will start on Monday. All good! :))
