Castlerigg

More of the Western Lakes today.
A walk round Ennerdale Water. I'm sure it could be great, but on a dull flat cold autumnal day it felt a bit meh.
Next was Loweswater, but it seemed difficult to get to the Lake shore so we pushed on for Crummock then Buttermere. A closed road (thanks for the warning Cumbria Council, not) meant à trip over Honister Pass and a drive along Derwentwater, always a favourite place.

Some errands in Keswick (Missy has a new coat) and fabbo ginger cake in Little Chamonix café.
Then as we headed home along the A66 the sky looked interesting. Blip done.
