Old lantern at sunset, Lucerne (last backblip)
It's very difficult to decide which photo to put up for my last backblip of my escapade to Lucerne. I've chosen this lovely old style lantern against the sunset sky making reflections in the water. I saw the sky from the restaurant when we were eating and nipped out after the first course to take some photos!
I've gone a little mad with some photos in extras and may have used them all up, so I'll need to be removing some older extras if I need some new ones!
- A partial view of Chapel bridge, to show you the lovely flowers and the colour of the water.
- Houses and their reflections along the River Reusse
- Another decorated house in the old part of town.
- The tower and Chapel Bridge is 270m (672 ft) long. The bridge was built in 1333!
I shall be visiting Lucerne sometime in the future. It's too beautiful to stay away!
